When cleaning with the laser beam, a brief laser impulse is shot at the surface to be cleaned.
The energy of the impulse is absorbed by the layer of soiling to generate a plasma that expands quickly. The surface of the component is not damaged due to the reflection of the base material.
This creates a shock wave that fragments and blasts off soiling.

How does laser beam cleaning function?

Virtually Unlimited Applications

The laser cleaning technique is one of the most modern state-of-the-art techniques for cleaning moulds and surfaces.

The tire industry is at the top of the agenda here. We have been applying the fully automatic TMCS cleaning system (tire mould cleaning system) for years throughout Europe. This automated technique guarantees that all areas of the mould are cleaned. The five-axis scanning unit guides the laser light even in intricate lamella structures. But you can also clean engravings on the side shelves without residues because the waste material that accumulates is vacuumed off and filtered.

Along with our fully automatic laser cleaning systems, we also feature mould and surface cleaning with manually guided laser systems. A next-generation optical cleaning unit enables us to solve the toughest cleaning problems at a high degree of flexibility.

Fully automatic and manual laser cleaning is two tailor-made low-cost applications that go gentle on the surface with virtually all applications for cleaning industrial plants. If you want to drive down your expenditures for disposing of waste material while minimizing the downtimes for your plants, then give us a call. We'll be glad to give you a quotation at no obligation.
